Role Description

SwissCham Singapore is looking for an intern to support the Engagement Managers with event planning, social media management and member relations. 

This role offers a great opportunity for candidates interested in networking with the Swiss Business Community and doing independent, creative work and be a part of a welcoming team.

Start Date: June 2024 

Duration of internship:  5-7 months (full-time)

Location: Hybrid - Work from home with weekly meeting in office + attendance at Events

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite
  • Basic design skills using tools like Canva 
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Interest in and knowledge of Swiss business and culture is preferred
  • Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field



 a) Event Management: 

  • Manage event registrations
  • Liaise with speakers and participants
  • Design visuals, flyers, invitations and eDMs for the promotion of events 
  • On-site assistance during the event 

b) Marketing/ Communication:

  • Communicate/ perform event updates on SwissChams Glue Up website 
  • Create content, and share relevant information with SwissCham members via the monthly newsletter - Daily/ Weekly email marketing 
  • Social media posts and creative writing 
  • CRM and database management 

c) Other assignments 

  • Support at Board and other Meetings- taking minutes, preparing presentations
  • Other tasks upon request.
