Internship - SwissCham Singapore
Role Description
SwissCham Singapore is looking for an intern to support the Engagement Managers with event planning, social media management and member relations.
This role offers a great opportunity for candidates interested in networking with the Swiss Business Community and doing independent, creative work and be a part of a welcoming team.
Start Date: June 2024
Duration of internship: 5-7 months (full-time)
Location: Hybrid - Work from home with weekly meeting in office + attendance at Events

Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite
- Basic design skills using tools like Canva
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Interest in and knowledge of Swiss business and culture is preferred
- Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Responsibilities:
a) Event Management:
- Manage event registrations
- Liaise with speakers and participants
- Design visuals, flyers, invitations and eDMs for the promotion of events
- On-site assistance during the event
b) Marketing/ Communication:
- Communicate/ perform event updates on SwissChams Glue Up website
- Create content, and share relevant information with SwissCham members via the monthly newsletter - Daily/ Weekly email marketing
- Social media posts and creative writing
- CRM and database management
c) Other assignments
- Support at Board and other Meetings- taking minutes, preparing presentations
- Other tasks upon request.
