A morning of strategic dialogue at Zurich meets Singapore 2026

SwissCham Singapore was delighted to co-host this event with ZHAW School of Management and Law, bringing together leaders from business, government and academia at the office of our valued member, Swiss Re, alongside guests from the Zurich delegation visiting Singapore.

The discussion explored a timely question: What are the opportunities and challenges for Swiss companies in Singapore and Southeast Asia in times of global shake-ups?

- Singapore continues to offer some of the strongest opportunities for Swiss companies looking to expand or launch their business across Southeast Asia.
- In today’s geopolitical landscape, resilience and agility are becoming just as important as efficiency, prompting companies to rethink supply chains and regional strategies.
- Innovation, open markets and strong ecosystems remain essential drivers of talent attraction and long-term growth.
- The strongest outcomes emerge through close collaboration between business, government and academia.
