Past event | Scalable and Efficient AI: From Supercomputers to Smartphones

On the evening of 6th January, our Science & Technology Subcommittee in collaboration with the Singapore-ETH Centre, hosted an insightful event on efficient and scalable AI.

The discussion was led by Prof. Torsten Hoefler, an ETH professor and globally renowned pioneer in high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence. Prof. Hoefler engaged the audience with his insights on large parallel computing systems, techniques to improve training efficiency, their challenges and how to navigate the age of computation.

A Q&A session followed, where attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with Prof. Hoefler. The evening concluded with refreshments and drinks on the stunning ETH terrace, fostering networking, the cornerstone of our events.

Thank you to the Science & Technology Subcommittee and the ETH Center who helped make this event a success!

The future of technology is being shaped today through breakthroughs in HPC and AI, and events like these continue to inspire collaboration and innovation.
