Laurent Corpataux

Laurent Corpataux is responsible for the Southeast Asia market at the Singapore based Haring Timber Technology, part of the Haring Group, a 143-years old Swiss company specializing in timber construction.

Laurent has 15 years of experience in the sustainable construction and building industry in Switzerland and Southeast Asia. Concurrently, Laurent is also an external consultant/advisor to various government agencies for the technical wood and sustainable forest products sector in Southeast Asia.

Laurent is also one of the Core-Initiators of the +Pavilion (Link) Sustainability Initiative in Singapore.

Before establishing the Singapore office of Haring Timber Technology, he served as a project lead of research & innovation projects in the built environment sector at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

He holds an MBA (Specialization in Finance, Strategy & Organization) from the National University of Singapore, Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Engineering from the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland. Moreover, Laurent also holds a professional degree in federal carpentry from Switzerland.

Laurent speaks four languages - German, English, French and Bahasa Indonesia.
